This is the 418th installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching interviews, newspapers, magazines and various other sources of media.
Wentz Too Far
Former NXT and current Impact wrestling star Kimber Lee accused her husband Zachary ‘Wentz’ Green (Nash Carter) of both mental and physical abuse in March of 2022. She then deleted those accusations from social media and said that she and Wentz were working on their relationship. In April, she once again re-issued those accusations and added a picture of Wentz giving what appears to be a Nazi salute. Kimber Lee stated that Wentz was anti LGBTQ.
The wife of Wentz’ tag team partner Wes Lee came to Wentz’s defense on social media stating that Zachary was not the bad individual that his wife was making him out to be. She tweeted….“Just so everyone is aware, @NashCarterWWE has been living with Wes and I for months ever since she was in the hospital (which she checked herself into). He’s actually been the one trying to avoid her and HER mental abuse. They haven’t been together. He went to 1 therapy session..”
Kimber Lee accused Wes Lee’s wife of being a drug addict and claims that Wes constantly cheats on her. She then said she doesn’t know Wes’ wife personally. That led Wes’ wife to post a photo of both couples together at Kimber and Zachary’s wedding.
WWE did an internal investigation and ended up releasing Wentz from his contract. At the time, Wentz and Wes Lee were the NXT tag team champions. Zachary would issue a public apology after his release.
Playing with Doll
Steve Doll was a very popular wrestler for the Pacific Northwest territory based in Portland, Oregon during the late 1980’s. He had four heavyweight title reigns and a total of 18 reigns as a co holder of the tag team titles. Doll was also the booker of the territory during this time. It was said that Doll booked future matches out of his apartment. Doll would invite various wrestlers over to his apartment to go over ideas. He would allegedly have lines of cocaine lined up on his kitchen table for him and the wrestlers he invited over to partake in and go over creative ideas. That is if Doll liked you. If he didn’t…no cocaine was found during meetings.
Rose is Red and The Midnight Rockers are Blue…Don’t Drink that or they’ll H Bomb You!
The late ‘Playboy’ Buddy Rose once recalled how life was on the road working for the American Wrestling Association (AWA). Rose said that there were a lot of drinking and partying after shows. Rose claimed that he was often asked to be used as a distraction for the Midnight Rockers consisting of a young Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty.
Rose claimed that the young duo never had any issues picking up women, but they quickly became bored and wanted a little more action. They often asked Buddy Rose to come knock on their hotel room and serve as a distraction when they had women in there. Rose knocked on the door and Michaels and Jannetty asked the girls to answer the door. While the women were distracted by Rose at the door…the Midnight Rockers allegedly spiked the women’s drinks with a drug called Halcion or ‘H Bomb’ which was a strong sedative.
After the females drank the spiked drinks, the Jannetty, Michaels and Rose allegedly had their way with them sexually. To add insult to injury, they also left their mark by allegedly shaving the women’s hair and/or eyebrows as a joke.
Maximum Exposure
Shaun Ricker who appeared on WWE television as ‘Max Dupri’ and is also known as LA Knight in NXT and Smackdown and Eli Drake elsewhere…had a modeling gimmick. A few years ago, Ricker did some modeling of his own….selfie style. A few of his pictures leaked online that reveal quite a bit of the current WWE star.
The pics show Ricker in various states of undress and some reveal Ricker’s private parts. These pics appear to have been taken early in his wrestling career. It is not known if Ricker uploaded these pics himself or he was a part of a hack.
