This is the 285th installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching interviews, newspapers, magazines and various other sources of media.
Adam Bomb-shell

Bryan Clark, who wrestled in the WWF as ‘Adam Bomb’ and in WCW as ‘Wrath,’ was arrested in Arizona in early February of 2020. Clark is being charged with conspiracy, illegal control of enterprise, transporting or selling narcotics, drug possession and possessing a weapon during a drug offense. Bryan Clark has issued a plea of not guilty. His attorney stated that “The police report contains alleged facts that have been grossly misconstrued and are incorrect, this includes incorrect allegations relating to medication and its use.”

His attorney also addressed the “ludicrous” weapons charge by saying that the gun is a family heirloom. It is an old, unused Korean War pistol that was stored in his home at the time of his arrest. He also stated that Bryan Clark was being “targeted because of his notoriety and acquaintances.” Clark’s lawyer insists that Clark is innocent and is a law abiding citizen who gives to many charitable organizations.
The Smoke Show

During a match in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dick the Bruiser was facing off against Bobo Brazil. During the match, the Bruiser was walking up and down the aisles like a madman getting the fans all riled up. One fan took a lit cigar and proceeded to put it out on the Bruiser’s back. Enraged, the Bruiser began to chase the fan around the arena.
The fan ran out of the building and into the parking lot. By that time, Bruiser ripped a piece of heavy wood off of the building’s wall and followed the fan into the lot. Dick the Bruiser allegedly beat the fan senseless with the piece of wood and may have killed the man if not for six police officers that jumped in and ripped the wooden weapon from the Bruiser’s hands.
Love Bytes

Former TNA/Impact wrestlers Davey Richards and Angelina Love met and were married in 2015. The couple were targets of hackers and had private nude photos of themselves released to the public. Also involved in their hacking was a sex video between Richards and Love. While the circumstances are unknown, Love and Richards divorced in 2017.
Penta-goner

Jesus Salas also known as ‘Pentagon’ was wrestling a match in Aguascalientes, Mexico against La Parka for AAA in 1996. After taking a bump inside the ring, Pentagon remained motionless. Medics quickly attended to the luchador and was briefly considered clinically dead. Luckily, a hospital was very nearby and he was immediately rushed there.
The medical staff were able to revive Pentagon, but he was in a coma for for three days. When he woke up, Pentagon suffered vision impairment and partial paralysis. The cause of Pentagon’s near death experience was kept closely guarded. AAA promoters insisted it was the bump he took in the ring, but others believed that Pentagon had been heavily drinking and mixing it with drugs before the event.
While Pentagon was recovering in the hospital, he was reportedly being neglected by his promotion….AAA. Their rival promotion…EMLL decided to raise money for his medical bills. That led AAA management to send out a press release that they were in fact in constant contact with Pentagon and were taking care of his expenses.
