She was a co winner of WWE’s talent competition Tough Enough. She went on to become both a wrestler and a valet for the company. Today on the blog, we ask…’Whatever Happened To’ Jackie Gayda?

In 2002, Jackie Gayda auditioned and was chosen to compete on WWE’s reality competition show ‘Tough Enough II.’ She beat out future wrestlers like Shelly Martinez and Kia Stevens to make it to the final 13 contestants. Ultimately, Gayda and Linda Miles were announced as co winners of the competition and were both awarded WWE contracts.

After briefly wrestling on WWE’s main roster….Gayda was sent down to the company’s developmental promotion Ohio Valley Wrestling for further training. She ended up turning heel down in OVW and managed the likes of the Damaja and Chris Kanyon. A few months later, she was recalled to the main roster to become the valet of Rico. She was renamed Miss Jackie.

Rico then began teaming with Charlie Haas and the duo would go on to win the tag team championships along with Miss Jackie. She and Stacy Keibler would begin a feud with Sable and Torrie Wilson over who deserved to be chosen to pose in Playboy magazine. In 2004, Gayda and Charlie Haas legitimately became engaged and it was incorporated in a storyline. In 2005, Gayda was released from WWE due to budget cuts.

Jackie continued her wrestling career on the independent circuit and even wrestled down in Mexico. She ended up signing with TNA wrestling and feuded with Jeff Jarrett and Gail Kim. Gayda remained with the company for several months until she became pregnant with her first child and was released from TNA.

So the question remains…whatever happened to Jackie Gayda? Gayda and Haas married in 2005 and together had four children. She and Haas returned briefly to the independents….but has since completely retired from active wrestling. Charlie and Jackie recently divorced and Jackie now resides in Texas and works in real estate.
